AMT 1.x: A toolbox for reproducible research in auditory modeling
نویسندگان
چکیده
The Auditory Modeling Toolbox (AMT) is a MATLAB/Octave toolbox for the development and application of computational auditory models with particular focus on binaural hearing. AMT aims consistent implementation models, well-structured in-code documentation, inclusion data required to run models. motivation provide able reproduce model predictions allowing students researchers work advance existing In AMT, implementations can be evaluated in two stages: by running so-called demonstrations, which are quick presentations model, starting experiments aimed at reproducing results from corresponding publications. Here, we describe tools mechanisms available within framework all 1.x versions. recently released 1.1 includes over 60 freely as an open-source package https://www.amtoolbox.org .

mmgenome: a toolbox for reproducible genome extraction from metagenomes
Summary: Recovery of population genomes is becoming a standard analysis in metagenomics and a multitude of different approaches exists. However, the workflows are complex, requiring data generation, binning, validation and finishing to generate high quality population genome bins. In addition, several different approaches are often used on the same dataset as the optimal strategy to extract a s...
متن کاملTerminologies for Reproducible Research
Reproducible research—by its many names—has come to be regarded as a key concern across disciplines and stakeholder groups. Funding agencies and journals, professional societies and even mass media are paying attention, often focusing on the so-called “crisis” of reproducibility. One big problem keeps coming up among those seeking to tackle the issue: different groups are using terminologies in...
متن کاملA Reproducible Research Framework for Audio Inpainting
We introduce a unified framework for the restoration of distorted audio data, leveraging the Image Inpainting concept and covering existing audio applications. In this framework, termed Audio Inpainting, the distorted data is considered missing and its location is assumed to be known. We further introduce baseline approaches based on sparse representations. For this new audio inpainting concept...
متن کاملGood Practices for Reproducible Research
Multi-core architectures comprising several GPUs have become mainstream in the eld of High-Performance Computing. However, obtaining the maximum performance of such heterogeneous machines is challenging as it requires to carefully o oad computations and manage data movements between the di erent processing units. The most promising and successful approaches so far rely on task-based runtimes th...
